SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/08/2004 02:36 AM 1. how to move vg to a new pc (licensing) please see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/Uniq...eIdentifier.htm 2. how to save each person's voicemail messages into their corresponding personal folder on the server on the ms network you can modify VoiceGuide's voicemail scripts - setting up a personal folder for each mailbox is not too hard. Voicemail scripts are in VG's \system\vm\ subdirectory. Share this post Link to post
Guest boblin Report post Posted 07/08/2004 03:40 PM 1. have not seen that type of registratioin yet. any plans to change to more conventional method? what happens if my system shortcircuit, or burns? and i have to get a new system... are you to provide different reg# free of charge? 2. also on your website i do not see any contact info, address, phone #.... 3. i am not sure we are talking about a same thing. i have pc running win2000server and bunch of workstations on the network. i intend to install vg on one of them. the 2000server has a number of personal folders. all boxes on 10/100 LAN. currently vg saves all messages in the 'c:\voiceguide\data\vmsave'. is there any way, for example, to tell the vg to save sally's voicemail messages in the sally's personal folder on the win2000server ('server\\pfolders\sally\'), and bob's voicemail message in the bob's ('server\\pfolders\bob\')... SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/08/2004 06:05 PM In cases when the network card or Dialogic card fails we will re-issue the registration code. (such situations happen very rarely). We are located in Sydney, Australia. Telephone number is not published as we used to get swamped with pre-sales support calls. You can look us up on www.yellowpages.com.au (search for Katalina Technologies) (plz note that we do no answer any pre-sales support questions by phone - all such questions are answered through this forum) currently vg saves all messages in the 'c:\voiceguide\data\vmsave'. is there any way, for example, to tell the vg to save sally's voicemail messages in the sally's personal folder on the win2000server ('server\\pfolders\sally\'), and bob's voicemail message in the bob's ('server\\pfolders\bob\')... Yes there is - it will however require modifying the VG voicemail scripts - which by default save the voicemail messages in VG's \data\vmsave\ subdirectory. You will need to look through the voicemail scripts in VG's \system\vm\ subdirectory - changing them to do what you want will require some VBScript type programming. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/09/2004 09:51 PM what does "Can change Voicemail Scripts" mean? That changes made to scripts in \system\vm\ subdirectory will be accepted by VoiceGuide. If you just want to change Voicemail Server.vgs with, and no change any of the scripts in \system\vm\ subdirectory then the Pro version is fine. Share this post Link to post
